The streamers let you know to head outside when you arrived for the party.
Instead of the traditional guestbook, we used a basketball and had all the guest autograph it as they came in.
We had plenty of games planned, but the boys kept themselves entertained with 3 on 3 basketball game.
Even though the boys were outside, we set up the food and cake inside. We served nachos, pizza, chips, cookies, cupcakes, and ice cream.
I wrapped a few boxes in white wrapping paper and used electric tape to give a referee backdrop for some of the food.
The basketball cookies were delicious and fit the theme perfectly.
The cupcakes also tasted great and were topped with an orange gumball.
All of the desserts were from Corbin's Sweet House in Desoto, TX. Everything they make is tasty!
Once the boys got their food, they headed back outside to eat. To make the table a little festive, we used brown packing paper and drew basketball court lines on it.
As the favors for the party, we pre-filled goodie bags with some simple things like pencils, bouncy ball, wrist band, and a rubber band.
We also set up a pinata for them outside so they could fill the rest of their bags with candy. They thoroughly enjoyed it.
Overall, it was a great party! The boys had lots of fun and so did we! We hope you consider us when planning your next event.
Happy Planning!
